The Mark Of Cain return to the stage this October performing their debut album Battlesick in its entirety. Originally released in 1989 via indie Adelaide label Dominator Battlesick sounded like no Australian album before it or since.

This year we will be heading out to celebrate 30 years since Battlesick was released in 1989. We have been rehearsing and intend to play Battlesick in its entirety later this year in a series of shows around Australia.

Today marks 10 years since TMOC entered Broadcast Studios with Evan James in Adelaide to record what was to become 'Songs Of The Third And Fifth'.

Battlesick, The Unclaimed Prize, Ill At Ease and Songs Of The Third And Fifth have all been added for either download or streaming access.

This year I am again riding every stage of the Tour Down Under over the next week to again raise research funding and increase awareness of cancer and its devastating effects on families and individuals around Australia.

Was great to catch up with Stanier at Laneway Festival in Adelaide on Friday. Battles powered through an amazing set with John's infallible rhythmic precision.

Due to unexpected day job commitments we have unfortunately been forced to cancel Perth and Newcastle from our upcoming Tour of Duty. Apologies to all affected. We hope to make up this shortfall in the new year. All other shows remain on track. See you there!

Way back in 2006, five years after their previous national tour John Scott: singer / songwriter and guitarist with Adelaide's The Mark Of Cain declared; “We’re going to tour once a year, or twice if we can - we want to play". Unfortunately it didn't quite work out that way.
