Hi – As the year rolls to a close, we just want to take the opportunity to say thanks again to everyone who came out and supported our shows this year. It was great to get back out there – seeing everyone and playing all those songs again. No-one in the crew/band caught Covid on tour (I was somewhat surprised at that), although I managed to get some sort of shit cold just before the Adelaide shows, and any lesser person would have cancelled…lol.
Again thanks to Tim at Feel Presents for putting together the shows and also to our amazing crew Tyson, Christian and Ben for all their support during the shows, and our friend and long-time supporter, Brett who keeps all the socials and TMOC website up to date.
As we’ve previously mentioned, the plan is to tour Ill At Ease next year, given the original intention for a 2020 tour was poleaxed by Covid. We will start rehearsing Ill At Ease once we are through this holiday period and I’m looking forward to getting songs like You Let Me Down, Hindsight, Walk Away and a few others that we haven’t played in years.
Who knows, we might even try put down some new stuff, we’ll see. We’ve messed around with a few riffs which are looking likely to pass muster – anyway, no promises but there’s been some rumbling bass lines and great drums idea flowing about. If I can just get my shit together….
So, Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays (lol), Happy New Year, be safe, stay away from signposted areas that say road closed due to flood, and we look forward to seeing you all again in 2023.
