“I started talking about what my fears were for the band. I had very few fears about coming out to other people it was the band; was I damaging the legacy? That was my biggest fear. And Kim in his normal way was like; “Ugh, fuck them. If they don’t like it they can go fuck themselves! “You know (laughs…) OK! I’ve got this staunch ally, you know, next to me and um, I think Kim even said (he told me later) some of the people we were near at Christmas, he was “Yeah! I got a new sister for Xmas!” He was really cool about it.
